Dan Gross (Book, Music & Lyrics)

Dan (a/k/a "Danimal") hails from Atlanta, Georgia; and though he has lived and worked in New York as a drummer/percussionist/songwriter for many years, that ol' Song of the South sometimes still comes a-callin'.

Dan's performing and recording credits include Petula Clark, Rita Moreno, Billy Crystal, Lea Salonga and Lucy Lawless; and he has been on Broadway and in touring productions of Grease!, Blood Brothers, Les Miserables, Eleaine Stritch:At Liberty, Rent and Chicago. Off-Broadway and regional theatre credits include Tony and Tina's Wedding, Play It Cool and Little Shop of Horrors. Dan is also active as a songwriter, composer and educator. He has penned works and performed for numerous educational foundations in the New York area and is the author of several drum method books.

While Dan is a proud member of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM), the American Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) and the Dramatists Guild and is dedicated to juggling a variety of creative projects, he likes to spend his mornings playing 'daddy' to goofball rottweilers, Luger and Heila, and planning the next exciting travel adventure with his far better half, Rose.

Come on in, kick off your shoes, and stay awhile...and enjoy "Southern Rain."          Obrigado, Rosie! Te amo.

Lina Koutrakos (Book, Music & Lyrics)

Singer/songwriter Lina Koutrakos was raised as a Navy "brat" and grew up...well, pretty much everywhere...but most of her early years were spent south of the Mason-Dixon. In fact, she was crowned "Little Miss South Carolina" back in 19--...Well, let's just say it was a few years ago. Still, she was officially Southern Royalty!

With her band, The Low Country, she has rocked many of New York City's legendary nightspots (B.B. King's, The Bottom Line,Joe's Pub and Fez), won numerous Best Female Vocalist awards and garnered features and rave reviews (The New York Times, Billboard Magazine and others). She has recorded four CD's of original material, and her songs have been performed and recorded by fellow artists and have been featured on radio and television.

In her copious spare time (NOT!), Lina is also an in-demand performance coach/director and teaches workshops throughout the United States.

Karl - You really know how to give a person the freedom to go after her dreams. Thank you.
